InSync facilitates to create dynamic forms by your own. Type in ‘Dynamic’ in smart search box and click the ‘Dynamic Forms’ option.
To add a new template:
In the ‘Add New Template’, type in Template Name, select Template Type and Provider, and click Add. The template will be added in the following grid.
Click the Configure Dynamic Form icon to configure dynamic form for that template. You need to drag and drop a control in right pane to include in the template.
Controls: Locate the Controls in the left pane. You can drag and drop the control in the right pane in any cell as per your requirement.
System Controls: You can also use system controls such as Patient Search, Signature, ICD Search, CPT Search, Database Value, and Practice Header.
Control Properties
• | Column# and Row#: Enter column number and row number to place the control on specific position in right pane. |
• | Column Span: The form is divided into 4 columns. Use this drop down to pull the field size up to 2nd, 3rd, or 4th column. For example, you want to add Notes field and require more space, you can choose 4 in the Column Span drop down. |
• | Label: Enter the caption for the control. |
• | Alignment: Choose the alignment (left, center, right, or justified). |
• | Bold / Underline: Use the check boxes to mark the control as bold or underlined. |
• | Click Apply to see the effects in the right pane. |
o | To add a blank row above or below that row, click this icon . |
o | To remove the control, click this icon . |
Preview: When you are designing the form, you may want to see how it looks. Clicking the Preview button will show you how the form will appear in charting. You can then make necessary changes on the form and click Save once done.
Clear: Click this button to clear out all the controls from the form upon prior confirmation, however, it is recommended to use this button carefully to avoid rework.
Once you are done with configuring the form, click Save.
Copy Dynamic Forms
If you have already configured form for any provider, you can copy the same for other providers. Click the Copy icon and select the form to be copied and then select the providers for whom you want to copy the form and click Copy.
